NPS doesn’t care

To the editor:

It seems near that most of the residents of Leelanau County opposed the extension of the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The 4.2-mil extension will costs $15.5 million — that is $700 per foot! Remember the 1970s? The NPS has a history of pressing on with initiatives regardless of what people thing,
