To the editor:
I’m writing to honor my father’s memory. He was a WWII naval veteran, one of those suckers and losers.
He knew exactly what was in it for him. It is his epitaph on his tombstone. Unlike Bergman as a communications officer was a real patriot.
He would be appalled to see sheriffs stand by this violent man who entices a crowd to attack police.
I wonder whether some of my fellow Catholics have abandoned Christ to worship this man without morals, who thinks he can cast the first stone.
Trump’s actions can have profound damaging effects to our church.
