Construction began this week on four stream crossings in four locations along Co. Rd. 673 in Glen Arbor, one of which has been completed at the Tucker Lake outlet.
The project area will be closed to all boating traffic during the duration of the construction period, which runs through the end of November.
Paddlers are encouraged to either put in downstream of the project area (parking on the downstream side of 675 to offload. If paddlers choose to put in at the Fisher Road launch and float down to the project closure area, they will be required to paddle back upstream to their launch point. The roundtrip takes about two hours to complete.
