Grand Traverse Area Rock & Mineral Club will be hosting their annual rock and mineral show Saturday and Sunday, September 28-29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cherryland VFW Post 2780 in Traverse City (look for the army tank).
The event promises family fun for everyone including activities for young rockhounds.
Lapidary arts, jewelery, gems, fossils and minerals, along with vendors, displays, prize drawing and more will be available.
The entry fee is a $2 donation and children under 12 with an adult are free.
