Leelanau Montessori Forever Foundation (LMFF) will host its 9th annual Vineyard at Sunset 5K and a half-mile mile Fun Run, Sunday, September 15 at the beautiful French Valley Vineyard.
The fundraiser race supports Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy in its effort to create a sustainable future for the school and community. This race is one of the Foundation’s biggest fundraisers. Last year, more than 100 participants raced. This is a fun event for both school families and racers from all over the state.
“The annual Vineyard at Sunset 5K and Fun Run is not only a fundraiser for the Foundation but a wonderful community event. French Valley Vineyard generously hosts us at their venue. Our school children and families love to participate. Even those families not running come out and support the school helping with check in, course direction, food, or just cheering the runners on. We are so excited for another successful race!,” said Dani Geraci, LMFF President.
