Not fiscally responsible

To the editor: The old saying “Actions speak louder than words” perfectly describes Lois Bahle. Her recent Enterprise ad claims she is “fiscally responsible” and supports “housing sustainability collaboration.” During her short commissioner term in 2022, she voted to raise property taxes.

The old saying “Actions speak louder than words” perfectly describes Lois Bahle. Her recent Enterprise ad claims she is “fiscally responsible” and supports “housing sustainability collaboration.” During her short commissioner term in 2022, she voted to raise property taxes. Next, she voted to implement inspection fees on every transferred home. These actions make home buying even harder. Now she advocates for septic inspections on all homes every 5 years. The Conservation District’s yearly water testing consistently shows our lakes are clean and clear. Waterfowl feces create e-coli problems on our beaches, not humans. Fiscal responsibility? You decide.
