Heaven’s gain

To the Family of John Popa: My heart goes out to the Popa family with the sudden loss of John. Alan Campbell’s article eloquently described how John touched and molded organizations in Leelanau County for the benefit of all its citizens.

To the Family of John Popa:

My heart goes out to the Popa family with the sudden loss of John. Alan Campbell’s article eloquently described how John touched and molded organizations in Leelanau County for the benefit of all its citizens. On a personal level I considered John a true friend. As Lake Leelanau Association’s former Water Quality Chair, and the first Association biologist, I could always count on John for his advice and support. May John’s family and countless friends’ grieving hearts be warmed by the fond memories of time spent with him. Whenever you see a spectacular sunrise or sunset, think of John, because he would certainly brighten your day! Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
