I support Lois Bahle for District 3 Commissioner. Bahle advocates for affordable housing and childcare — huge challenges facing our county.
Our essential workers, teachers and young families need commissioners to work for innovative ways to increase affordability and availability of housing and childcare.
This August, the Early Childhood millage passed by 63.68%.
In 2021 former Commissioner Will Bunek attempted to set the Early Childhood millage rate at 0% by nullifying the public vote, leading to his recall.
District 3 doesn’t need a tone deaf commissioner who doesn’t listen to the needs of the county. District 3 needs Lois Bahle.
