Jason Lee Carstens, 47, passed away during a cardiac medical emergency on Sept. 8, 2024, while on an elk hunt in Colorado with his family.
He was born Sept. 30, 1976 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, to Ken and Katherine (Dunkelberg) Carstens, and grew up in East Lansing, Mich., where he played football for East Lansing High School.
