To the editor:

The League of Women Voters of Leelanau County wishes to thank the Leelanau Enterprise for inserting the League’s nonpartisan candidate Voter Guide for Leelanau County in this week’sedition. Everycandidate was invited to answer, in their own words, questions provided by the League. No edits were made in candidates’ responses. We are grateful to those who took the time to respond and, thereby, helped to inform our county’s voters. The League of Women Voters for many years has provided an online resource for nonpartisan information about candidates for the US Senate and the US House of Representatives, the Michigan State Senate and the Michigan State House and local candidates. At Vote 411.org voters can find out how to register and find their polling location as well as research all the candidates on their state and local ballots. You are encouraged to read this Voter Guide, to be sure you are registered to vote, and to vote either by absentee ballot, or in person early voting at the Leelanau County Government Center from October 26 to November 3, or in person on November 5 at your polling place.

Nancy R. Duck, President of League of Women Voters of Leelanau County Leland
