Solar boondoggle

To the editor: Would you accept $1,000,000 from the government for solar panels, if you then had to spend your own money to buy a fleet of EVs, install charging stations, and pay for maintenance and disposal? This promise is part of the solar project for the government center supported by Ty Wessell. Besides questionable financial and environmental benefits of solar power, switching county vehicles to EV would likely cause the total project cost to surpass any savings over time.

I support Jim White for County Commissioner (District 4), because he will hold the government accountable and ensure our taxes are used wisely.
