GTCD District’s fall seedling sale

The Grand Traverse Conservation District’s (GTCD) Fall native seedling sale is happening on Saturday, October 19th from 10:00 a.m. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outdoors at the Boardman River Nature Center (1450 Cass Road, Traverse City, MI 49685.)

The Grand Traverse Conservation District’s (GTCD) Fall native seedling sale is happening on Saturday, October 19th from 10:00 a.m. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outdoors at the Boardman River Nature Center (1450 Cass Road, Traverse City, MI 49685.)

This first-come, first-served sale (no pre-orders) will feature native Michigan conifers - balsam fir, red cedar, red pine, white pine, and white spruce.

In addition to tree sales, GTCD will host a Tree Planting Station where you can learn how to heel in and plant trees, site preparation, watering schedules, etc., pumpkin painting, a scavenger hunt for children and families, and self-guided hikes on the Natural Education Reserve.
