There is not much going on this time of year, Kids are getting back to school, most vacations are over and everything is back to normal in our area, whatever that is. Luckily our weather is holding out and it’s been pretty nice for the last couple weeks. We have had bonus weather so far, keep your fingers crossed and hope it continues.
The Sleeping Bear Marathon will be held on Saturday, October 5 beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Dune Climb. The 1/2 Marathon will begin at 8 a.m. again at the Dune Climb. There is also a 5K race which will begin at 8:20 AM at the Empire beach.
