To the editor:
The Democrats on the BOC are prepping county taxpayers for another expensive and intrusive government crusade. This time they are defining a new enemy... LIGHT! They claim “light pollution” is harming the environment. Oddly enough those same commissioners support a solar panel project which experts claim will have the following impacts: “loss of habitat, polluting waterways, degrading soil health, confusing birds, and disrupting animal migration”. A number of those impacts are the exact issues experts attribute to light pollution!!! So, if light causes those problems we must stamp it out, but if solar panels cause them, no problem??!!
