Vote for Conley

To the editor:

In a recent interview in the Leelanau Ticker, Mike McMillan, who is running for Leelanau Township supervisor, spoke of making local elections non-partisan. The conversation he said sparked the idea was that a woman told him she could not vote for him because he supported Donald Trump. I think he missed that she did not say it because he was a Republican. Many prominent Republicans are speaking out regarding not supporting the former president who is a convicted felon and serial liar. Who we support says a lot about us.

I will be voting for Barb Conley for township supervisor.
