'Hunt for Reds' event has started

The Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail has kicked off a monthlong “Hunt for the Reds” of October.

The celebration of red wines invites guests to explore the region’s finest wineries, each offering exclusive tastings of their best red wine selections.

Throughout the month, participants will have the chance to indulge in a wide variety of reds, from rich, bold cabernets to smoother, fruit forward pinot noise and more. Each participating winery will feature at least one red wine for guest to savor, along with insights into the craftsmanship that goes into creating vintage wines.
