Tom and Marge Scheve of Cedar announce the marriage of their daughter, Elise Scheve, to Aubrey Chambers in Dahlonega, Georgia Friday, 100 miles north of Atlanta.
Elise is a special education teacher at Northwoods Elementary in Roswell, Georgia and Aubrey is a software engineer. It turned out to be a beautiful day with the rain stopping at 2 p.m. and the sun shining at 4 p.m. Only three of 115 people missed attending because the Atlanta airport closed due hurricane Helene. Elise and Aubrey along with their Labradoodle Remy have spent summers since they met six years ago fishing and boating on Lake Leelanau.
