To the editor:
The Leelanau County Board of Commissioners has lost the respect it once had. To restore accountability, I urge you to vote for Al Campbell this November.
Al has supported and, when necessary, criticized out government. Under the Democratic majority held before August, spending has increased significantly in just two years, with little focus on controlling costs. Instead, commissioners push for programs that offer little benefit to everyday citizens or working families.
Al Campbell will challenge wasteful spending and ensure your tax dollars are spent wisely. It’s time to bring back responsible leadership to Leelanau County.
