With thanks

To the editor: I would like to give a big shout-out to Leland Township Trustee Clint Mitchell, who was instrumental in getting a trespassing snow fence moved off of the public beach at Reynolds Street. On September 23, the obstruction, which violates the settlement agreement signed by parties to the Janko lawsuit, was moved to the proper side of the public access pole.

To the editor:

I would like to give a big shout-out to Leland Township Trustee Clint Mitchell, who was instrumental in getting a trespassing snow fence moved off of the public beach at Reynolds Street. On September 23, the obstruction, which violates the settlement agreement signed by parties to the Janko lawsuit, was moved to the proper side of the public access pole. The fence had blocked off about 620 square feet of recreation area. Real progress! Thank you Clint and the entire Township board for taking action on behalf of the citizenry to preserve our public beach.
