To the editor:
Leelanau County government has lost its priorities. It paid a downstate consultant to conduct a survey of the entire county workforce when the only employee controlled by the board is the administrator.
Then the board authorized large increases in special millages on the recent ballot. County spending increased nearly 30% over three years.
Alan Campbell is a former business owner and award winning journalist who has studied county finances for many years. He is needed on the County Board. Please vote for Campbell for County Commissioner.
