The Leelanau Community Church will host its 31st annual Harvest Dinner for senior citizens Saturday, Oct. 19.
The potluck meal which includes turkey and all the trimmings will be available curbside or dine-in seating at the VFW hall in Lake Leelanau.
Curbside pick up is set for 4 to 5 p.m. Dine-in meals will be seated at 5 p.m. Seating is limited.
Registration is required by Oct. 16 and can be made by calling 2567838. Please leave a message with your name; phone number; number of meals for curbside pick-up; or the number of people in your party if dining in. Please specify curbside or dine-in.
There is no cost to attend. However, donations will be accepted and used to fill shoeboxes with gifts to be distributed to children around the world through the ministry of Operation Christmas Child (OCC).
Last year more than 10.5 million shoeboxes went to children all over the globe sent by OCC.
