For the last three years the Leelanau Township Library has been offering the Great Decisions Discussion group during the winter months.
Whenever the program ends the participants have shown interest in continuing the conversations.
This fall the group discussion leader has put together an itinerary for those that want to spend some time discussing the issues and challenges facing America.
The group meets from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Leelanau Township Library. Meeting materials will be available a week prior tat the library.
Topics for coming weeks are as follows:
• Oct. 16 — “On Morality and Foreign Power.”
• Oct. 23 —”EMerging Great Powers.”
• Oct. 30 — “East Africa as a New Regional Conflict.”
• Nov. 13 — “Domestic Division as a Challenge to America.”
This program is free and open to the public.
