A Cedar area couple will mark 50 years of marriage next week.
Dale and Joan (Fleis) Gauthier were married Oct. 19, 1972 at Holy Rosary Church. The Rev. Arthur Mulka officiated.
Both were born and raised in Leelanau County, graduated from Glen Lake School; Dale in 1971 and Joan in 1973.
