EMS response praised

To the editor:

Recently I experienced a medical emergency during a Village Voices rehearsal and 911 was called to the Northport School, Thanks to all the Village Voices members who acted so quickly and especially to Northport’s high quality, rapid response team. The EMTs acted very professionally and courteously. With the nearest medically facility over 30 miles away, it could be a matter of life or dead not to have highly qualified EMTs on duty 24/7. The voters of Northport need to be diligent for any attempt to weaken this valuable service.
