Paul John Timock, of Traverse City, Michigan, passed away on December 10, 2023. Paul was born on October 14, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to Barbara Timock and the late George Timock. He graduated from St. John Vianney high school in Flint (1968) and worked for General Motors until he retired in 1999.
After retirement, Paul moved to Suttons Bay, Michigan and built his dream home with his wife, Terri. Paul served our country in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. Paul was passionate about serving in the military and later in life, supporting several Veterans’ causes.
Paul enjoyed golfing, sipping bourbon, watching football and spending time with friends and family. He was also a member of the Traverse City Elks Club. He loved boating and time spent in and around the water. Paul was thoughtful and kind and an upbeat soul, bringing fun everywhere he went. He was known to have never met a stranger, as he befriended people instantly. Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Terri Timock. He leaves behind his mother, Barbara, his sister, Barb, and his brother, George (Sue). Additionally, he leaves two daughters; Angela (Greg) Harrant and Tina Britton. Paul had a special relationship with his niece, Alicia Paepke and nephews, Adam (Krystl), Ben and Andy Timock, as well as his grandchildren, Alex (Emily) Harrant, Anna ( Jake) Mathson and Avery and Asher Lehman. He was also blessed with great-nephews, Kysn Paepke and Cannon Timock, great-nieces, Ryne Paepke and Addy Timock, and a greatgranddaughter, Lyla Mathson. Paul had many beloved cousins, friends, and his golfing crew.
