Glen Lake routes Johannesburg-Lewiston

The Glen Lake Lakers celebrated a blowout 62-0 win over Johannesburg-Lewiston on Friday, while honoring members of their 1994 state championship team. The Lakers dominated from the opening kickoff to the final whistle, showcasing a strong offense and defense.

Glen Lake senior quarterback Keaton LaCross kicked off the scoring with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Wade Daniels, followed by a 43-yard rushing touchdown by Benji Allen. The lead expanded to 17-0 after a 48-yard field goal by Boden Fisher. By halftime, Allen had added two more rushing touchdowns, pushing the Lakers’ lead to 36-0.

Additional touchdowns came from Fletcher Middleton (15 yards), Sam Dykstra (35 yards), and LaCross, who threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to senior Issac Hlavka. In the second half, Dykstra and Middleton each contributed with long touchdown runs, sealing the game at 62-0.
