To the editor:
The political advertisements of both parties seem to use half truths and misleading information much of the time. I want to hear a more honest approach to what they can realistically accomplish with such a divided legislature. If both sides don’t start working together our country and state will suffer the more for it.
When a political advertisement comes on the radio or television I immediately reach for the remote control and mute it. I am probably wearing it out! For fact checking I rely on either PBS or NPR. I am sure there are several other reliable sources also. I imagine that most of us aren’t taken in by the misleading rhetoric or at least I hope not.
