Less is more

To the editor:

“Government” was instituted (for Americans) to collectively do certain things that individuals cannot do themselves. Not manage play groups ($900,000), which mothers can easily organize through social media. Or subsidize BATA buses ($1.9 million) running empty on M-22. Do you want even higher property taxes? And busybodies endlessly tormenting you for your own good? Want more official interference in your life? Neither do I. So I’m voting for Jim White, Tim O’Non, Lisa Trombley … next month. You should, too. Vote for liberty! Vote Republican! “When the government is big, the citizen is small.”
