It’s a busy time of year, people running around Christmas shopping, getting ready for company, decorating the houses and just doing the things they do this time a year. So far the weather has held on for traveling, but who knows what can happen.
Just a reminder the annual Children’s Book Drive with the Friends of the Glen Lake Library, collecting new children’s books for preschoolers through grade 6. Please giftwrap your books and deliver them to the library or to the Cottage Bookshop in Glen Arbor through Saturday, December 17th. They will be distributed at Glen Lake School and other area partners.
Also, a reminder, the Empire Area Community Center is sponsoring a Holiday Potluck on Dec. 17 at the Empire Town hall, doors open at 5 p.m. and it begins at 6 p.m. Be on your best behavior because Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be arriving at 7 p.m.
