Dr. Rummel joins Munson

Kegan Rummel D.O., a Lake Leelanau native, has joined Munson Healthcare’s Cadillac general surgery.

Rummel has spent his entire career in the mitten state. He is a board-certified general surgeon and went to Michigan State University College of Osteopathic medicine, graduating in 2015. He completed his residency at McLaren Macomb Hospital.

He continues both clinical practice and academic pursuit as a associate clinical professor of surgery at MSU and has helped to teach students from Central Michigan University and Grand Valley State University. Rummel is a published author who has researched and presented material throughout Michigan and nationally to his peers.
