There are several races in Leelanau County with candidates running unopposed in the upcoming general election on Nov. 5, ensuring their roles for another term.

Below are a list of candidates that are running uncontested for their respective positions at the county level: Steve Paciorka, who is nonparty-affiliated, is running unopposed for the position of Leelanau County Probate Court judge. The current Probate Court Judge Marian Kromkowski was elected for a four year term in 2018, but cannot run again this year as the state constitution dictates that no one over 70-years-old shall be elected or appointed to judicial office.

Paciorka currently serves within the 13th Circuit Court as juvenile and domestic Circuit Court referee, handling juvenile cases for Grand Traverse County and domestic cases from all three counties in the court. He has also practiced as associate attorney with Sterling Law Office in Traverse City.
