With her loving parents present, Pamela Joan Haney took her first breath on Tuesday, June 26, 1945, at Saginaw St.

Mary’s Hospital. At the age of 79, with her family around her, she took her final breath at The Grand Traverse Pavilions on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents: Les and Elizabeth Haney, her two brothers, Kurt and Allen Haney; her former husband, Tom Adams, and many dear friends and family. She is survived by her beautiful children: Brenda (David) Jackson, Julie (Rick) Bennett, Janine Adams, Erin (Scott) Goldman, Pamela Adams, and Andrew Adams; by her children’s step-mom, Linda Adams, and children: Michael (Meghan) Adams. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sandra Sue Haney, along with her precious red-haired nieces: Cindy, Rhonda, Karen, Alysia, Barbara, and Kurstin, along with their spouses, children and grandson. Pamela was dearly loved and will be missed by her grandchildren: Nathan (Meg), Jane (Adam), Beth, Aaron, Nick (Amanda), Stephen (Tabby), Corey (Staci), Sebastian, and Maya and Xavier, Dylan, Tyler, Jackson, Miles, and Clara. She loved and cherished her great-grandchildren: Luca and Lark, Olivia, and Luna.

Through all the twists and turns her life took, Pam was known to act with integrity and defend fiercely. She adored her family. She was fun and funny, and her grandchildren thought she was a hoot. Her ability to love and welcome others into her family was a special gift to many. She was dearly loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The family would like to recognize and thank Grand Traverse Pavilions along with Hospice of Michigan and those who so compassionately gave of themselves to care for our mom after a debilitating stroke in November of 2022. A special thanks to Sam, Michele, Jen, Jeff, Levi, MacKenzie, Ashley, Amanda, Mary, Lindsay, and Carolyn, who loved on our mom and filled her final two years with love, laughter, and shenanigans.

Arrangements for her memorial service are being finalized and will be announced through her obituary on the Reynolds-Jonkhoff site.
