To the editor:
For many years, the residents around the Glen Lakes have requested that speed limits be reduced for the safety of walkers, bikers, and drivers. With the passage of a new bill by Governor Whitmer, townships are now allowed to set those limits. I encourage each resident to write or email the supervisor of their township to address this ongoing problem. Many townships control the roads around these lakes, so please address your specific township. We, along the very and busy Dunns Farm Rd., are requesting the limit to be 35 mph to ensure safety to all.
