2:03 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Rear window of truck is shattered, but still intact in the frame.

Tuesday, Nov. 12

2:03 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Rear window of truck is shattered, but still intact in the frame. (Deputy went with caller. There does appear to be evidence of malicious behavior.)

2:25 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Subject is face down in driveway. Bruises on face. Caller helped him up. He didn’t want help. (Only fell. Assisting now.)

6:49 p.m. — Solon Township — Gray F-150 stopped. Sobriety tests administered. Subject arrested for operating while intoxicated.

11:22 p.m. — Elmwood Township — White Chevy stopped. Sobriety tests administered. Subject arrested for operating while intoxicated.

Wednesday, Nov. 13

7:52 a.m. — Solon Township— One black cow on the loose. Walking down the road. Heading south. (Cows are secured.)

8:53 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller was last home at 5 p.m. yesterday and the door was still open. Individual was in caller’s yard yesterday and he is possibly trying to squat in caller’s house. Caller is concerned there are unwanted people in her house. Caller requests the house be periodically checked until she returns home Friday.

2:14 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Neighbor’s son was dropped off by school and parents are not home.

4:37 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Silver Jeep. Driver in custody on a Benzie County warrant.

Thursday, Nov. 14

3:37 p.m. — Kasson Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.

5:56 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s ex-boyfriend took $20 from her. Caller wants it back so she can go home.

6:33 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Dark-color truck with right rear light out. Speeding and passing on double yellows and curves. Swerving.

9:36 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller reports her mother left around noon today and hasn’t returned. (Mother returned.)

Friday, Nov. 15 

1:32 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Individual is sending messages to caller’s girlfriend saying he wants to beat the caller up and is harassing her as well.

2:17 p.m. — Bingham Township — Computer scam. But also spoke on the phone with scammers. Gave personal information. No money was lost but gave approximate balances of accounts.

2:57 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Welfare check. One in custody on a Leelanau warrant.

3:58 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Someone used to rent caller’s property. The “renters” have it listed on VRBO and Airbnb and are collecting the money.

4 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Male walking around, posing as a park ranger and was hitting trees to try to scare wildlife from the hunters.

Saturday, Nov. 16

2:20 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Silver Malibu stopped for sobriety tests. Taken into custody.

3:59 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Two young people came and knocked loud and then ran west. Caller just wanted it noted. Will call if it happens again.

7:43 a.m. — Bingham Township — Southbound car swerving in and out of the lane.

7:44 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Suburban was tailgating caller.

9:36 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller reports a scam. Concerned someone has taken out a credit card in caller’s name.

Sunday, Nov. 17

2:01 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Someone knocked loudly at caller’s door. Happened about three nights ago. Caller didn’t hear a car or see anyone. (Caller does not need to be seen, but would like someone to check the area.)

11:42 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Window is wide open on second floor room. Next to the dining room, subject is dropping items out of the window to the ground.

Monday, Nov. 18

12:17 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Male throwing all his garbage in the caller’s dumpster. Male drives a burgundy minivan. Been going on for a month now. Caller wants subject to know — no dumping.

12:37 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Neighbors tore up the fence. (Informational report. Survey crew coming out tomorrow.)

3:25 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Semi driver hit caller’s car about five minutes ago. Caller’s vehicle was parked. Blue, Nissan Sentra.

5:21 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller requests a welfare check on subject. Has not talked to him in nine days and she talks to him everyday.

6:46 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller would like to talk to an officer about her neighbor.

Tuesday, Nov. 19

12:10 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller works for Spectrum and noticed a gray SUV with the trunk open. He did not feel comfortable closing it in case someone has broken into it or something. It looks like nobody has broken into it. There’s just some tools in the back. (Law enforcement checked and was unable to locate owner. Hatch is secured.)
