Glen Lake senior Benji Allen throws it down during the first game of the season against Elk Rapids in a 65-54 win. Glen Lake (1-0) won the first boys basketball game ever played at the new Elk Rapids (0-1) High School gym last week. Laker junior Jacob Plamondon led with 29 points, eight rebounds, three assists. Glen Lake senior Benji Allen scored 13 points, while freshman Max Lamerson had nine points and three rebounds in his first ever varsity basketball game.
