“Renewable Energy Today… and Tomorrow?” is the topic of the League of Women Voters of Leelanau County’s Jan. 8 public forum at noon in the Community Room on the lower level of the Leelanau County Government Center.
Joe DeFors, president of Leelanau Energy, will discuss why renewable energy is so important. He will explore where we are today and what the future may hold. This public forum is free and open to the public as well as to members. People are encouraged to bring a sack lunch. The event will be videotaped and will available later on LWVLC’s website: www.lwvleelanau.org.
