9:18 a.m. — Bingham Township — Business has taken payment a year in advance.
9:39 a.m. — Empire Township — Female requests a welfare check on children. Referred to Child Protective Services if she has concerns for her children’s welfare.
11:57 a.m. — Kasson Township — Semi jack-knifed. Vehicle is off the road, not damaged.
2:10 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller walking by address. A loose dog growled at her, then charged. Bit her in the pant leg. Not injured. Concerned about the aggressive behavior of dog.
2:40 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Twelve kids on the front side of the hill. Can see persons, including older folks, on the hill. (Law enforcement will stop and speak with the caller.)
Thursday, Dec. 5
6:42 a.m. — Kasson Township — Three vehicles stuck in ditch. No damage. Tow approximately one hour out.
7:04 a.m. — Kasson Township — Blue Subaru Outback parked
on the road causing trouble for snowplows.
Friday, Dec. 6
7:59 a.m. — Kasson Township — Red Jeep just passed caller. Cut super close then slammed on his brakes, swerving all over the road.
5:42 p.m. — Centerville Township — Someone dumped an illegally harvested deer on caller’s property. Pulled up in a white Ford Super Duty. Got out. Dumped deer and left.
6:29 p.m. — Leland Township — Subject has not been seen since yesterday. No lights on in the house. (Patient contact was made. All units can go nonemergent.)
9:27 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports hearing what sounds like someone using an electric saw in her house. But no one should be there except her. (No one in the house. It was an issue with the furnace.)
10:23 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller advises there is a man outside her house.
11:25 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Car off roadway near Cherry Bend Road. No lights on. Unknown if anyone is inside. Several cars have almost hit it. (Tow truck removed.)
Saturday, Dec. 7
10:27 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Car parked at the intersection. Young male, possibly asleep in the vehicle. Caller spoke with him and he said he was OK. Caller then watched him move the car a little. Vehicle not a hazard but the male seemed like he was “going through something.”
11:08 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Youths trespassing on property. (Caller doesn’t need to be seen. Just wants it on the record.)
11:41 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Prius slid on the ice into something on the side of the road into a wall or garden. No injuries. Vehicle not driveable.
5:31 p.m. — Centerville Township — French Road is full of slush all the way to Cedar. Notified Road Commission. Also advised them of Lincoln To Cherry Bend and Lincoln between Fouch and Bugai.
8:08 p.m. — Solon Township — Suspicious incident.
Sunday, Dec. 8
8:03 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports Mann Road needs plowing.
11:45 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Between Maple Grove Cemetery and the Scenic Drive, group of trucks set up to chase deer across the road and one gentleman has a firearm on a tripod aimed to shoot across the roadway.
12:57 p.m. — Solon Township — German Shepherd wearing a harness with a cone, wandering around.
10:47 p.m. — Leland Township — Domestic. One taken into custody.
Monday, Dec. 9
9:42 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Older, light blue BMW convertible parked in the roadway. Been there for several days. Creating an obstacle and in the way of snow removal.
10:27 a.m. — Empire Township — Caught a feral cat and is now unsure what to do. Would like some advice.
11 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Earlier today caller was on a tractor on Overlook Road when an individual passed him and flashed what he believed to be a handgun. Would like to speak with a Leelanau deputy about the incident.
2:33 p.m. — Bingham Township — Truck with trailer swerving over the yellow line. Varying speeds.
5:47 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports fraud on his bank account. Someone got in and was moving money around online.
7:08 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Disorderly person.
