To the editor:
Leelanau County is blessed as we celebrate this holiday season to have a truly giving organization- Leelanau Christian Neighbors helping those most needy. Through its multiple programs, it provides meals, clothing and assistance with shelter.
As we enter 2025, many are uncertain as to what lies ahead, especially for those who need assistance. When one celebrates at the holiday religious services, many references will be made to Luke 2.7. The Holy Family was told, there is “no room in the Inn.” Many in this country are seeking room and safety yet are hearing this message from our elected leaders.
