Northport School

Northport School students presented their winter concert to a packed auditorium on Dec. 11. The concert began with beginning band students playing several tunes including “Jingle Bells, Up on the Housetop, Jolly Old St. Nick, and Ode to Joy.” They were followed by the advanced band. They performed Lexington March for their opener, and they also performed several holiday tunes including “Silver Bells, Frosty the Snowman and Down Through the Chimney.” After the bands performed, all students in grades K-5 performed 11 holiday tunes for audience members. Everyone was treated to cookies and other treats in the lobby after the show.
