Library gets grant

The Leland Township Library has been awarded a $25,000 Thriving Communities grant from Rotary Charities for its upcoming expansion and renovation project. Not only does grant recognition from Rotary Charities signifi cantly help in fundraising efforts, it represents the backing of an influential driving positive change in the region.

The Leland Township Library has been awarded a $25,000 Thriving Communities grant from Rotary Charities for its upcoming expansion and renovation project.

Not only does grant recognition from Rotary Charities signifi cantly help in fundraising efforts, it represents the backing of an influential driving positive change in the region.

Serving as a vital community hub, the Leland Township Library will undergo a major renovation and expansion project. The improvements will address structural challenges and allow for anticipated growth in library services, including space for increase attendance for children’s programs; a dedicated space for teens; improved support for remote work; increased available for community meetings and enhanced accessibility to staff.
