A county organization is one of seven regional entities awarded a year-end grant from the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation.
The Leelanau Montessori Forever Foundation received $15,000 to support early childhood expansion at the Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy.
The grant was second only to $20,000 awarded to both Goodwill Northern Michigan to support the initiative to end chronic homelessness and the Kalkaska County Library to support the development of branch libraries.
