Glen Lake wrestling has started the season with momentum, showcasing its skills at the Grayling Don Ferguson Tournament, its second wrestling event of the season.

Glen Lake junior Emily Alaimo remains undefeated, achieving a 5-0 record at the Parchment Girls Tournament. She improves her overall record to 9-0 on the young season.

Abraham Feeney led the Lakers’ efforts, concluding the day with a 3-2 record. Meanwhile, Tre Arnold finished 1-2, and Luca Aucello recorded a 2-2 performance.

During the tournament, Glen Lake freshman Henry Plamondon and senior Thomas Skipper each secured a single victory.

However, Sully Seymour, Jacob Peplinski, and DJ Mikowski faced challenges, each going 0-2 for the tournament.

Glen Lake will hit the mat next at Montague (girls only) on Thursday, December 29 at 9 a.m,, followed by another at Kingsley to ring in the new year on January 3.
