To the editor:
A remembrance of gratitude to the life of an honored community leader, Dave Taghon, the Village of Empire. Dave is recognized for his lifetime of public serve in business and to the village. Known as a keeper of the local history and lore of the Empire area, Dave welcomed sharing the past with others. But I feel Dave may be best remembered for the character and spirit he imparted to the Village of Empire that lives on in the heart of the community.
