Leelanau County and Cleveland Township officials will meet tomorrow to discuss ways they might force Sugar Loaf Resort owner Jeff Katofsky to finally demolish his blighted and hazardous structures. Located in Cleveland Township, the lodge and other buildings at Sugar Loaf have been closed and deteriorating since March 2000. *** Ownership of a popular road end in Leland used to access Lake Michigan is being challenged in state court. Attorneys for the Abigail M. Janko Share Trust and the Preston P. Joyes Jr. Trust have filed a complaint against Leland Township and the Leelanau County Road Commission seeking quiet title to the west end of Reynolds Street.
