The Leelanau County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with Safe Kids North Shore, provides a service of checking to make sure that your child’s car seat is installed properly in your vehicle.
It takes about 20 to 30 minutes for a trained technician to help ensure proper installation, and can be completed at the Sheriff’s Office in Suttons Bay.
Car seat technician Deputy Jennie Block, can be reached at 231-256-8661 Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. to make an appointment.
