To the editor:
So much to be thankful for on this last day of a well-run federal administration: The local businesses who provide essential services; Bay Shore Oil & Propane; 186Networks; non-profit Cherryland Electric Cooperative; non-profit Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
My local Leelanau Township neighbors who responsibly share and steward God’s Creation.
The road commission who keeps our roads well maintained.
The Leelanau Township, Leelanau County and State of Michigan governments, and federal senators who provide law abiding representation and administration respectful of their constituents.
The Leelanau Enterprise reporting; well written letters to the editor such as Joan Blount’s, David C. Brigham’s, and Jim Schwantes’; and other well researched and factual letters.
Regarding Jim Schwantes’ letter, which I fully support, January 6th, has always been special to me as its observed as Epiphany by Christians.
January 6, 2021 is now known to many around the world as the Day of Insurrection and Disorder when the US Constitution was under attack, and the Nation formed, and people united, under the U.S. Constitution were also assaulted by the attack on Our Capital and dually elected Representatives.
Now, let us focus forward together defending the U.S. Constitution and our Nation against citizens who are abusing their power.
God Help Us All. Rob Franzo Leelanau Township
