‘Galentines’ in Glen Arbor

I certainly hope all the people wishing for snow are happy. The skiing conditions should be great, even some good powder.

The Friends of Sleeping Bear say the trails are good, Pierce Stocking has been rerolled and reset track. The Dune Climb has been rolled and reset track;, Dune Climb to Pierce Stocking; Pierce Stocking to Glen Arbor is in good condition and legal Dune Climb is in great condition for sliding Something to look forward to: Galentine’s Night in Glen Arbor. Friday, Feb. 7 in Glen Arbor from 4 to 7 p.m. to shop, eat, drink and have some fun.

The second annual chili cook-off at the Glen Lake Community Church on February 2nd will follow the 10 a.m. worship service. No need to enter a chili, come and enjoy.

When it comes to chili cookoff s, the annual Glen Arbor Chili Cook-off is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 from noon to 2:30 p.m., more later.

The lake is freezing and getting ready for the Perch Fishing contest. Sign up will be at the Sportsman Shop from 6:30 to 7 a.m.
