The Old Art Building in Leland is offering three events tailor-made for livening up the winter months in snowy northern Michigan.
Just in time for Mardi Gras, the OAB will host The Backroom Gang on Friday, Feb. 28, for a night of New Orleans-style jazz.
Attendee will enjoy “Big Easy” bites from Fiddleheads in Lake Leelanau, danging and a cash bar.
The event runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Cost is $30 for OAB members/ $35 for non-members.
On Sunday, March 9, the OAB will present three short plays based on three Edward Hopper paintings.
“Drinks, Drama & Dessert” will kick off with social time, followed by three dramatic works, concluding with dessert. One drink, coffee and dessert included with ticket price.
The event begins at 6 p.m. Tickets for this performance have already sold out, so another performance, a 3 p.m. matinee has been added.
Tickets are $35 for OAB members/$ 40 for non-members.
