A beating heart

To the editor:

I recently saw a sticker on the back window of a truck saying “Abortion kills a Beating Heart.” That’s true. Are you aware that the ‘heart’ is the first organ developed in a baby and starts to beat at around six weeks, and fully developed at nine to ten weeks of pregnancy or sooner? (check internet) I’ll never forget when I couldn’t save the lives of three underdeveloped birds gasping for air with beating hearts when their nest got accidentally disturbed, and the mother bird no longer nurtured them. Immediately, unborn babies came to mind, gasping for life with beating hearts. before aborted. I pray that hearts will open more to defend life for the unborn from conception.
