America didn’t elect Elon Musk. He wasn’t appointed, vetted or confirmed by Congress. Trump’s Press Secretary was “unsure” about Musk’s (and his team’s) Security Clearance/ background check (C-Span). Given all that, how is it that they have access to the Treasury’s payment system, the checkbook for the entire federal government? A system that contains sensitive information about millions of Americans including Social Security and Medicare payments. Now Musk has vowed to cut off funding to government contractors and organizations he does not like (USAID, Lutheran Family Services.) A Constitutional crisis is upon us. Musk must be stopped.
